Making Apples for Rosh Hashanah
The children enjoyed painting and making apples for Rosh Hashanah to celebrate the sweet New Year! They learned about the colors red and green as well as the Rosh Hashanah holiday. We had an apple tasting with honey for snack. They used their senses to smell the apple, feel the texture, and taste the delicious red and green apples. We sang the song Dip your apple into honey! The children had a lot of fun with this activity and celebration.

Ms. Isabel and Ms. Danielle asked the children to draw what they wanted and make their handprints. They were able to work together, show their creativity, focus, and use their fine motor skills. They worked on their social-emotional skills by sharing the crayons, working as a team, and using their social skills to communicate with each other and make new friends. Each child made a unique drawing and had lots of fun making their handprints.
